In New Zealand, this past week Cyclone Gabrielle has caused a swathe of wet and muddy destruction. The city I live in is unscathed, but my heart goes out to those people who have lost everything. I have also been saddened by the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria and the loss of life and the hardships being experienced in these countries.
People everywhere are going through a lot right now and I thought it would be a good time to share Mary Magdalene’s teachings about Surrender, Honour and Courage from the program ‘The Transcripts of Mary Magdalene - Fundamental Aspects of Love’ from the Ascension Library.
When I visited La Sainte Baume in Provence in 2013, I spent days walking in the snow on the mountain and then sitting in the café next to the monastery drinking café au lait. As I sat there by the fire, I listened to what Mary had to say as she shared her own life story of what happened to her after the crucifixion of surrender, strength and courage. Back then, 2013, it was a challenging time in my own life and her story gave me such strength and the capacity to keep going. Her story is very inspiring and uplifting. I share it with you with LOVE.
